Pastor: Tammy Grey

Tammy was born and raised in Central Florida. She received a Master of Divinity degree in 2012 from Asbury Theological Seminary in Orlando, Florida. Before answering the call to ordained ministry, Tammy served in the social work field as well as children and youth ministries. In 2000, she received a Bachelor of Arts in Religion and Sociology from the Florida Southern College. Tammy enjoys the outdoors, traveling, and spending time with her family: husband, Alan, and three children: Kaleb, Ethan and Abigail.

Pam Price Music Director

Pam grew up in Dorchester, SC and received a B.S. from the College of Charleston and a J.D. from the U.S.C. Law School. She has practiced law for 28 years. Music has been a big part of her life since the age of 3. She took piano lessons for 15 years, and played guitar in a folk group in high school along with trumpet, flute and French horn. She has directed children’s choirs and played in Church for over 20 years. She says, “Music is my way of worshiping”. She has two sons, six grandchildren, and will soon be a proud great grandmother.

Youth Director: Katie Shearouse

Katie grew up in Irmo SC and has been a lifelong member of Shady Grove. She graduated in December 2010 from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science with a concentration in Nutrition. In December 2017, she graduated from Piedmont Tech with a nursing degree and now works for Prisma Health Richland as a Registered Nurse. She is also the camp director for Jenkinsville Salkehatchie. In her spare time, she loves to work on renovating her house and playing with her two pups!

Contemporary Worship Leader: Chelse Lawson

Chelse was born and raised in East Tennessee, but is proud to be a transfer Carolinian! She received a BA in Theatre from the University of Tennessee and BA in Music Education from the University of South Carolina. She teaches chorus and general music at St. Andrews Middle School, and teaches a private voice and piano studio through Columbia Arts Academy. Her passion is worship through music, and in her spare time you can find her reading or hiking. To God be the Glory!

Administrative Assistant: Amanda Norris

Amanda was born and raised in SC. Her professional background consists of a wide variety of office and customer service experience. She and her husband Tim have three children: Daniel, Sophie and Donovan. She enjoys camping and hiking with her family as well as crabbing and fishing with her dad and in her quiet time prefers to read or knit.

Sexton: Charles Kaminer

Charles is a lifelong member of Shady Grove. In addition to being the Sexton, he is the Sunday School Superintendent and teacher. Charles graduated from Irmo High School and Midlands Technical College. He is retired from Grainger Industrial Supply. Charles and his wife Linda have three children: Charlie, Dana and Susie. They also have eight grandchildren.
